5th Baltic Sea Region Conference in Medical Sciences (BSRC)

Dear Colleagues,

With great honor and pride Medical Students of Lithuania invite You to the:

5th Baltic Sea Region Conference in Medical Sciences (BSRC)

The conference will take place from 14th till 16th of May 2010 in Vilnius – the capital of Lithuania.

The preceding BSRCs in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland have shown to be a very important event for medical students throughout the Baltic Sea Region and further countries as well.

The Conference will offer a good opportunity to contend with best scientific works, be evaluated by competent specialists, participate in various seminars, build friendly and professional relationships and share experience.

The entire program will take place in the Old town of Vilnius – European Capital of Culture´09. You will have a social program allowing you to experience its ancient spirit. In the evenings you will get a chance to see Vilnius´ night life.

You will have an opportunity to present your scientific work or to listen to others in fields of:

* fundamental medicine,
* biomedicine,
* dentistry,
* pharmacy,
* public health.

On purpose to involve more students into scientific activity and to develop their scientific skills 5th BSRC will reward students who present best research works or posters:

* 1st place of every section will receive prizes worth 100 €;
* 3 best presentations of the conference will share 1000 € cash reward.

Furthermore 5th BSRC offers you a unique chance to participate in the International Conference of Doctors and Residents of Family Medicine. You will be easily allowed to take an active role in all its workshops and lectures.

The deadline for abstract submission is the 1st of March, 2010.
